With remarks by Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) and Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) H.E. Mr. Yury Fedotov Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations (Vienna) H.E. Ambassador Talya Lador-Fresher

The ceremony will also include a prayer by Chief Cantor Shmuel Barzilai and a musical performance by “Duo Shira“ with Singer Shira Karmon and Guitarist Ronen Nissan.

The exhibition “The Butterfly Project: Remembering the Children of the Holocaust” outlines the impact of the Holocaust on children and showcases an educational initiative called “The Butterfly Project” developed by the Houston Holocaust Museum to teach the history of the Holocaust to young people, encourage them to remember the 1.5 million children who perished and to stand up against hatred and prejudice.
