After 17 years of successful experience in the national competition “YOUNG PEOPLE REMEMBER SHOAH”, the Ministry of Education, University and Research- Directorate General for Student, Integration and Participation, in collaboration with the Union of the Italian Jewish Communities proposes an itinerant exhibition dedicated to a non-exclusively scholastic audience gathering some of the works realized for the competition by students from primary, secondary and high schools in the last few years. The idea of an itinerant exhibition aims both to acknowledge the tireless work carried on by Italian students and teachers all over the Country and to encourage the participation of a wider number of students and education institutions to the competition. The exhibition includes approximately seventy works selected among those proposed for the competition in the last few years. We have tried to consider also the artworks that, despite not receiving awards, reveal the students’ emotional involvement and a deep historical research. The decision of including a wide range of works represents a precise espositive choice, showing how such a delicate and complex matter can be developed through different techniques of artistic expression. The exhibition is an initiative advertised by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research- Directorate General for Student, Integration and Participation- and Union of the Italian Jewish Communities.
