76. Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau - Warsaw Ghetto Museum

The article about the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp written by Dr Martyna Grądzka-Rejak (Head of scientific and research unit at Museum, Judaism scholar, a well-known educator) will be released in at least 20 local newspapers in Poland on Jan 27, 2021.

The anniversary activities on the website and FB will include the release of the education films, to be used during school lessons about the victims of the Holocaust. The features are titled "The Ghetto in the Literature", "In the footsteps of Warsaw Ghetto", "The Message".

The display with photos of the “One in Three” exhibition, which presents major historical events, such as the so-called Grossaktion Warsaw and the Uprising of 1943, will be presented at the Grzybowski Square (It`s a part of the old Jewish Quarter and location of the Warsaw Ghetto).

The Museum is organising the online workshops for schools from the city of Łódź on that day. They are devoted to the issues of the Holocaust in the Polish literature. It's a joint project with the Social and Cultural Society of Jews in Poland based in Warsaw.
