Online launch of AJR Refugee Voices Testimony Archive's new film VOICES FOR A BETTER WORLD, followed by a panel discussion.

Please join us for the online launch of our new film VOICES FOR A BETTER WORLD, followed by a panel discussion. The film features excerpts from interviews in the AJR Refugee Voices Archive and explores the interviewees’ reflections about their disrupted lives, their traumatic experiences and their hopes and worries for the future.

The event will be introduced by Michael Newman, Chief Executive of the Association of Jewish Refugees. The panel will include ambassador Michaela Kuegler (IHRA president 2020/2021), four interviewees who appear in the film, Kurt Marx BEM, Eva Clarke BEM, Ann Kirk BEM and Bob Kirk BEM, and Dr Bea Lewkowicz who directed the film.

The panel will address the theme of ‘the legacy of testimony’ and share their thoughts on their own engagement with Holocaust education.

All ticket holders will receive a link to watch the full-length feature film for free ahead of the event.
