Os 31 países-membros da IHRA (Aliança Internacional para a Memória do Holocausto) adotaram a “Definição de Trabalho de Negação e Distorção do Holocausto” durante a Reunião Plenária da IHRA em Toronto, a 10 de Outubro de 2013.
A Aliança Internacional para a Memória do Holocausto (IHRA) une governos e peritos para reforçar, fazer progredir e fomentar o ensino, a memória e a investigação sobre o Holocausto em todo o mundo, bem como para cumprir os compromissos da Declaração de Estocolmo de 2000.
Os materiais relacionados com o Holocausto devem ter a sua origem no período a partir do fim da Primeira Guerra Mundial, estendendo-se até ao encerramento dos Campos de Deslocados na década de 1950, e devem estar em consonância com a condição legal, política, social, económica e cultural dos grupos que foram submetidos a políticas estatais e/ou de perseguição durante o período em destaque, de 1933 a 1945.
