2013 m. spalio 10 d. Toronte vykusiame Tarptautinio Holokausto aukų atminties aljanso plenariniame posėdyje 31 šio Aljanso šalis narė patvirtino „darbinę Holokausto neigimo ir iškraipymo apibrėžtį“.
Memorialinių muziejų pareiga yra saugoti aukų orumą nuo bet kokios formos išnaudojimo ir užtikrinti, kad politinių įvykių interpretavimas įkvėptų kritiškai ir savarankiškai apmąstyti praeitį, neapsiribojant vien įprastomis istorijos pamokomis.
