In 2022, the Swedish IHRA Presidency went to great lengths to monitor the implementation of the Malmö Forum Pledges, secure a new financial model for the IHRA, and host the International Conference on the Genocide of the Roma and Combating Antigypsyism. Their Presidency included two successful Plenaries, where delegations came together to make important decisions, including the endorsement of IHRA co-funded recommendations to empower teacher training institutes.
