IHRA Project on Recommendations for Teaching and Learning about the Persecution and Genocide of the Roma during the Nazi era

Ordinary objects, extraordinary journeys

This IHRA Grant created an interactive website that tells the story of four objects and their owners to help secondary students better understand the human impact of the Holocaust.

The IHRA’s Education Working Group

Made up of international experts in pedagogy, the IHRA’s Education Working Group (EWG) helps IHRA Member Countries advance Holocaust education. It researches and shares good practice on teaching about the Holocaust and develops recommendations to help educators and policymakers develop curricula and training programs. The EWG also promotes professional development programs around the world.
